EuropaSat ‘goes Google’!

EuropaSat (formerly ToowayDirect) has become the first Tooway ISP to offer its customers FREE access to an integrated on-line version of Google Apps. Google Apps gives users a dynamic on-line suite of tools as well as a robust and feature-rich email service using their own europasat.net email addresses.

From today, all EuropaSat’s Ka Sat Tooway customers will have access to Google Apps along with a free email service all powered by Google, all accessed and controlled via EuropaSat’s online Customer Portal.

As well as email with 7.5 GB of storage EuropaSat customers get a customisable Google homepage, access to Google Calendaring, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Contacts. Google Docs is currently migrating into the much talked about Google Drive which gives EuropaSat’s users free access to quality cloud computing and storage, with access to their files and documents wherever they are in the world.

EuropaSat’s Managing Director Andrew Walwyn said

“We’ve been searching for some quality tools to add to our satellite broadband portfolio for sometime. Adding Google Apps to our offering provides our customers with some fantastic on-line benefits, and they can have confidence that their email and these other innovative services are being powered by the biggest name on the Internet”.

“Google Apps is the first of a string of new value-added features that we’ll be launching over the coming weeks to ensure that ToowayDirect customers always receive the best possible satellite broadband service they can”.

Google Apps was the brain child of Google Product Developer Rajen Sheth and is now used by some 25 million people and 4 million businesses around the world.
